My story
Working both sides of the divide.
That clean cut kid in the black and white picture is me in 1981, on my first day as a cadet at the John Fairfax Group. Twenty years as a journalist, editor and columnist followed, then two decades advising CEOs and boards, latterly as a chief executive.
I have sat in the interviewer’s chair and the one across from it, and I bring both to every session.
